Russia has just submitted its entry in the global bid for air-superiority fighter.

Thing looks enough like a raptor to be one. Russia though has a long history of throwing things out that look like something that prove to be not exactly all that case in point being the Mig-25 which when it first came out has the west quaking in it's collective boots and then they got hold of one and discovered that it was basicaly a flying engine with lousy avionics and engines that required replacement at at fairly frequent intervals.
