Post by PhunkyPhishStyle on Sun 22 Nov 2009, 4:34 am

Figured i'd share a pic of the 175lb hog i folded tonight using my Marlin lever action 30-30...mmmm...sausage...

And my 10lb 11oz bass

dude in pic with me is my little bro - kid's been hunting since he was 6 and probably knows more about hunting and fishing (aside from my father), than anyone i've ever met.

So anyways, those are my latest...feel free to post your own here!

I don't eat much catfish these days. Used to get my fill of it in North Carolina, "Down Easters" get some great catfish and flounder, batter it up, and serve it with hushpuppies.

But these days I'm getting more salmon (from friends who go up to Alaska now and then) and lots of Red Snapper- being out here in Florida.

But that Bass is a trophy!

My hometown is Savannah, Tennessee, which proclaims itself as the Catfish capital of the world. All the local restaurants have fresh catfish from the Tennessee River. It's great. There's even one that serves frog's legs, and that shit is DELICIOUS.

If you're in Fla. Mahi Mahi is to die for. Salmon is grown in pens around here. We get scallops off the boat along with lobster.
If I get the time and remember I'll post some pics of the small mouth bass having wild sex in front of the house.

That fish... Yeah that fish... Have you cooked it yet?

Let some of it become old, and sterilize it in alchohol or fuel. And snort the poweder after it pretening it is a vagina!

You actually get horny of that!

Nice pic, PPS, I'm seeing more wild turkey around here all the time. 3 walked across the road in front of me not 1/4 mile from the house. They're doing real well up here. Last year my grandaughter, Aspires daughter shot her first Tom.

Damn I wish I could still imbibe. First time I went hunting by myself I was seven caught about twelve rabbits bare handed. got scratched and got sick for a day. By the time I was twelve I could take rabbits and squirrel with my 25 pound bow did with frequency I always hit the woods by myself whenever I could.

Saw a Tom on the way home from work Sunday morning, first time I've seen one with his tail all spread out in display. God I love this part of the country.
