Banned: New Rules Proposals

Post by J.B. on Wed 04 Mar 2009, 11:53 am

After looking over what some of you have said, I went over the rules, and the structure of the site.

Aside from a few improvements and tweaks, I don't see a reason to change anything.

The rules will remain the same; anything with material that could cause problems at work should be simply labeled "NSFW" (Not Safe For Work). Moderators should scan every new thread to be sure whether it is work safe or not.

The "back room" is gone- and that was the main objection we had.

Other than that, the site remains, as always MUZZLE FREE.

I'll let you all know when the ad campaign is going to begin.

Err, no. We mods can't be arsed to read each and every thread and look for abnormalities. Our job is to execute moderation - not to actively look for things which require moderation. If we miss something, which is the most likely scenario, then people should notify us by either a personal message or a message in the mod thread.

So you needed an announcement to announce that there is nothing to announce?

Wow! Some tension between the administration and the hired hands?

Err, no.

a.) moderators aren't "hired", they're elected
b.) it was just a joke.
c.) except the lazy part.
