Re: Fed Conquest Now Complete
OK JB I'll breeak it down for you. There is no huge conspiricy to make things as they are.
This quote from CW says it best and shows he understands at least on the surface what is taking place.
"and we gleefully not only kill each other, but we pay THEM to do it. Geez..."
but even after that he still doesn't get it based on his next statement.
"the Federal Reserve, and everyoen connected to them need to be brought down, and then they need to be forced to pay for the THEFT they have commited."
There is not theft, there is no conspiricy!
We do this to ourselves and if you broke it up today we would just rebuild it tomorrow.
We need someone this for some reason because we can not trust each other to play fairly we ask for and even demand someone hold alll the money for us.
Kind of like a impartial party at the poker game. Yes he will get a cut and yes he will profit for doing almost nothing but holding out money. BUT WE GAVE IT TO HIM TO HOLD!
So here is the final word on it. You can rant and you can rave and even if you gathered enough support to tear the whole system apart today we would rebuild it starting tomorrow and the people who know how to build it will make a killing.
Silly Rabbit, tricks are for kids.

...so in other words, aspire is saying:
Just sit back and relax your butt hole muscles while you get plowed. You can't change anything so why fight the anal rape? Try to enjoy it, because after all, you pulled your pants down and stuck your ass in the air. Someone was eventually going to come along and shove their cock in you unjustly. If we finally fight off the rectal intruder, it wont matter because your hole will be gaped large enough for another cock to slip right in.

LMAO, I've got to say that was one of the most disturbing posts I have ever read, and it quite likely would have been one of the HOTTEST, had you been a girl.

The idea is correct though but you leave out one part in your scenario.
For some reason even if you fight off the rapist you will invite a new one to rape you tomorrow.
The book animal farm is the only thing that comes to mind here. Some of you may object but the majority will just ask for it all over again if you do manage to make it go away.
Wasted effort.

That's nice. I was calling issue with "privately owned." Idiot. The Fed is not to be lumped together with the likes of Wells Fargo or First National as that statement implies. It is entirely different in management structure, operational goals, and most importantly, Congressional Charter, having been created by the Federal Reserve Act of Congress almost 100 years ago. Incidentally, thank you for proving my point. A "central bank" is not the same as a "private bank."

I think this video is a nice addition to this conversation...gives a lot of good history on the banking establishment here in the US, and touched the subject of Andrew Jackson part.

Re: Fed Conquest Now Complete
Wow, conspiracy much?
While I'm not a history person, I do know enough about EO 11110 to say that the video definitely LIES on that point: the Order didn't retake the federal government's authority to print money without the Fed, for two reasons. First, the federal government never gave up the authority, but rather delegated its implementation to the Fed, and second, the Order told the Treasury to issue new silver certificates at higher denominations for silver in the government's possession but without certificates in circulation. The Fed was authorized to replace these certificates and to "make change" by issuing lower-denomination certificates than those issued by the Treasury.
That's quite different from "OMG, we have to take back teh money suppliez!" that the video made the Order sound like.

Everything is a tad bit one sided when talking politics if you ask me...but I do think it mentioned some valiable points....there is obviously a problem with the banking system whichever way you want to look at it or we would not be in this situation.

Problem with the banking system? No, there was a problem with derivatives traders' and loan writers' ethics ("Hey, let's give this janitor a $400k mortgage, and then bundle it with some other loans and sell the bundle! We make money, don't have to worry about the inevitable default, and score brownie points with the federal government for reaching out to the community! We can't lose!"). Where in hell did you get a problem with the banking system from?

And who forced the banks to give loans to "more diverse segments of the population"?
Bill Clinton.
It was pandering to minorities, and ended up giving out loans to underqualified borrowers.

Have you not been reading this thread...or noticed the huge amount of debt were in, the fact that we continue to print off money?? I know you did not like the video, but the quotes were all made by our presidents...privately owned banks trying to manage profits rarely make great decisions for all.
"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world, no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

NS, while I agree with you on those problems, you cannot forget that none of this would be possible without cheap, available credit throughout the banking system. When all is said and done, it was the central bank that made all of this possible.

Re: Fed Conquest Now Complete
The debt is not the Fed's fault, the buck stops squarely with Congress on that one. You know, that group of people we elect to make our decisions for us? As far as printing money, well, that's Congress too, via the Mint. Sure, the Fed works monetary policy, but they do that as much (or more so) through lending rates, not printing money.
And privately owned? That's true, but not in the common sense. Fed banks are required to own shares in the Federal Reserve, but they are NONVOTING shares. Congress still directly controls the Fed, through statue and approval of Board banks and members.
So pardon me if I don't get up in arms over a nonexistant injustice. I'd rather be pissed at Congress for mismanaging our resources and their authority rather than a group that's doing their damnedest to fulfill the practically impossible responsibility Congress gave them.
EDIT: PPS, while I agree that credit is the problem, I think it is due more to overavailable credit: credit available beyond the market rate. And once again, the blame for that can be laid squarely at the feet of our oh-so-wonderful Congress.

NS, I agree with you but these guys always want to blame either the stupid janitor for accepting a loan or the far distant Fed.
I have yet to hear of a bank or bank officer being arrested, or convicted for NOT writing a loan to someone who was incapable of paying it back.

No, but the banks tend to get visited by HUD agents for "Fair Housing Act violations." Minorities tend to have lower incomes, so when a guy gets turned down because he had bad credit and can't make the payments and just happens to be hispanic, it's suddenly not because he can't pay, it's racism in the lending industry (surprise, surprise).

I missed this one earlier, sorry. You're going to have to be more specific, credit gets "created" in the system every day. Bank loans a 16 year old kid five thousand for his first car, boom, credit is created. Somebody takes out a new Visa? New credit. Et cetera.
What exactly are you saying the Fed does? Do they have the power to tell Sears they can't issue a new credit card? Or are you talking about setting reserve requirements and whatnot?

Re: Fed Conquest Now Complete
Let the powers that you are saying visit bankers for not issuing loans to people with no hope of repaying them bring the bankers to court. I do think that the banks have enough money to fight something like this to the USSC.
The banks don't care as long as they can dump these bad loans off on Fannie or Freddy. That is the problem. The banks are back doing all over again.
