MK Ultra
Does anyone know more about this project performed by the CIA. Apparently they were mind controlling experiments going on that caused two deaths...and there was a class action lawsuit against the federal government that resulted in several people being given settlements?? Apparently the lawsuit was becuase they were performing the experiments on U.S citizens who did not realize that they were going to be subject to lsd, electroshock therapy, and radiation....sounds very odd to me...and when I look more into it I was trying to decipher the conspiacy theorist from what really happened. I saw some of the court footage..but it still didnt explain it very well.

Re: MK Ultra
I can tell you that it happened, but I'm no help in pointing you towards the info on it.
Lots of things happened in the past 4 decades in the name of National Security that should never have happened.

vague recolection that LSD was used on military personel during the 50's by the CIA. They also used live troops for other experiments.
I know I sound like a broken record, but how is that any worse than school systems pushing mood altering drugs onto early elementary school children. "OK children line up for your ritalin pills."

Re: MK Ultra
Well it just sounded really kind of just crazy..well and scary that our government can do that and just pay people off.
Patom I can completly agree with you on the mind altering drugs for children...if I were a parent I think nothing would be more difficult than trying to make the right decision for my child with ADD/ADHD. There are so many treatments out there, and some having very terrible side affects, not to mention the doctors that wrongly diagnose the children. I watched a show about parents with children going through this and one set of parents was doing everything they thought they could right, but all of the medications ended up giving him a tick by 13. It was terribly sad for everyone involved.

This is a video of one girls testimony, said they began treatment on her when she was a kid since her father knew the doctor involved...just seems crazy that I have never heard of this stuff.
